We stayed here for 2 nights while cycling in the area. We received a warm welcome from the host on arrival. Our room was modest and relatively compact but had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was clean and tidy throughout. We even had a small balcony with a view of the mountains, nice if you didn't look down at the flats in the foreground. The hotel is just a short walk from the Cite Vauban where there are plenty of places to eat. The hotel breakfast was buffet style with more than enough selection to cater for most appetites. The breakfast room was large, possibly formerly the hotel's restaurant, but with no character, not that important for breakfast I guess. The hotel has its own parking but it is the other side of the busy road heading to Italy. It can be a little difficult to get across with a case at busy times. If you just need a base in the area and are not looking for anything with lots of facilities then this probably ticks the necessary boxes.

Good hotel with comfortable beds and good amenity in a great location to explore the old city. Good breakfast available and free parking outside it close by. Staff speak good English and are very helpful.

This hotel was booked on route from La Harve not knowing how far we were going to get. On arrival at 9pm after along and detoured journey we were greeted by a helpful gentleman in reception who promptly booked us in and directed us to the nearest restaurant so we could eat before it closed. The room was at the front of the hotel it was clean and comfortable if having an odour that was not pleasant but not quite cause for much complaint. Breakfast was excellent and good value
