I am a fan of Marriott in general, I find them to be very well run and reliable. This hotel is no exception. It is primarily a business hotel, well situated for access to the motorways with a shopping center across the street. Rooms are nice, we did not eat here so no comments there.
Positives - we often find that the duvee which is standard in hotels nowadays is too hot, So we remove the padding and just use the sheets. The guy who did turndown service - name was Igor - noticed this and left us an extra blanket. Very thoughtful and commendable.
Suggestions... (1) Really hard to find a power socket in the room. A business hotel should have free outlets on the desk for laptops. (2) If you have a coffee station in the hotel lobby, people (including me) will assume that the coffee is provided for guests. When I tried to use, I was told that it was for a function in one of the rooms. In that case, make it clear or put it in the conference room. Also suggest a little more flexibility on the part of the staff, I am a guest and it would not ruin their day to let me get coffee.
Would be 5 star, but deducted one star for these last 2 points. But overall, a good hotel.More
