Amazing tomb of a puppet emperor. It stands in stark contrast to the tomb of Mang Minh down the road. Massive French influence, it almost feels like walking into a small room in Versailles dedicated to the Orient. It offers amazing views. And, like most of my experiences in Vietnam, a guide offering extra info really made the trip much more interesting.

Very interesting tomb on a smallish site. The wonderful glass and porcelain work is incredible. A much modern tomb compared with others in Vietnam it took 11 years to build and was completed in 1931. Definitely should be a bucket list.

I came here with my sister by motorcycle, it wasn't very far from Hue railway station. The ticket costs 100,000vnd which is quite expensive for an attraction in Vietnam. The weather in Hue is always very hot so bring cold water or ice water and anything to cover your head (hats, umbrella,...). There is no restriction about clothes so you can wear short and tank tops also.
The tomb is very sophisticated and very beautiful. I think out of the biggest three tomb in Hue then it's the most beautiful one. It's not very big in size but the walls, the ceiling, the decoration are real masterpiece of Vietnam.
