Recently stayed here for 6 nights on a self-catering basis with my girlfriend. Booking communication was prompt and friendly from the owner Jo. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and shown around the Annexe. As other reviews have said, this place is first class... very clean, spacious and in a beautiful little village (Piddlehinton) which is picturesque itself.
The kitchen provides everything needed for you to cook (if you wish), the WIFI was reliable and worked with no issues. Bathroom very clean. Literally had no problems with anything, everything has been thought out great.
The Annexe at Rusper House was a perfect base for exploring Dorset - a 25 minute drive to Weymouth and a mere 8 minute drive to Dorchester, there was always plenty to do. Had a walk round the local village and it was just so peaceful!
The owners clearly care about your stay as they provide a feedback form during it.
I would definitely return here if staying in or around Dorset again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed here for four nights and would absolutely recommend this lovely accommodation. Perfect location, Piddlehinton is a pretty village with a good friendly pub and beer garden. The Annexe at Rusper house is delightful with a well planned layout and equipped to the highest standard. Best of all are the superb breakfasts supplied by the Jo the owner, she restocks every day a fine variety of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, eggs, milk, bread etc, we were truly spoilt for choice. The outside seating area is peaceful and pretty, we had a wonderful time and look forward to returning as there are still so many places to visit in the area.
I stayed here with my adult daughter on a B&B basis for the early May bank holiday weekend and we had a fantastic time. The accommodation was comfortable, spacious, beautifully clean and very well appointed - absolutely everything we needed and more!. The range of food provided for breakfast: cereals, bread, eggs, fruit, yoghurts and a variety of spreads and teas and coffees, was exceptional. The kitchen is well equipped and so cooking an evening meal if you don't want to eat out is no problem. The living area looks out on to the garden and there is a small private patio although it was a little to chilly to enyoy by the time we arrived back in the evenings.
Jo was very welcoming and reassured us that we could call on her at any time should we have any problem but this was not necessary and I imagine would be exceptional given the the thought and attention to detail that has obviously gone into setting up this accommodation.
Piddlehinton is a typically picturesque Dorset village and is very centrally located. There is so much available locally we were spoiled for choice as to what to do each day. Looking back on the weekend with my daughter we agreed that we would be more than happy to stay in the Annexe again in order to explore some of the areas we were unable to cover this time.

This was a lovely place to stay..really enjoyed the area and accommodation..everything we needed ..ideal situation for touring around ..great pub in the village serving good food...hope to return in the near future..
We stayed for a week over Xmas and it felt like home from home. Located in the peaceful and serene Dorchester countryside, the apartment was spacious, clean and with all the conveniences you need while traveling. We had two young kids with us and they loved the place. Highly recommeded
