Lovely place to visit with a gallery and informative staff .The cafe is extremely good and quality food and drink.
Didn’t buy anything in the shop but some interesting items.

Found this gallery on the internet and called in on our way back from Rhiw.
A grand imposing Victorian mansion set in beautiful grounds with some fine views to sea.
As we entered we were met by a friendly an informative lady who gave us a concise introduction to the house and the gallery.
The gallery displays a marvellously varied selection of art with some historical background.
We had tea in the cafe and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We called in here for a family meal and visit the gallery, which we do each time we are in the area. The conservatory is a very pleasant, airy place to dine. There are also picnic tables out on the lawn overlooking the sea. Although it was busy service was prompt and the staff were helpful and accomodating, though they seemed a little glum on this occasion.

There is a good choice of foods on the menu and they make an effort to use local suppliers including Nefyn-based Dwyfor coffee, a good, reliable choice. As other reviews state, the homemade cakes are spectacularly good and the worst thing is deciding which one to have!

The small car park beyond the building is chargeable, it helps support the upkeep of the gallery. Otherwise you can park in the National Trust car park opposite the entrance (NT members can park there free).

We have been visiting this gallery for over 25 years and it's development has been amazing. A few years ago, the cafe was not great, but it is now great and has good food, lovely cakes and service was excellent. The gallery is also great and well worth a visit. Will be there again soon.

What's not to like! Such an interesting display of a wide variety of pictures and sculptures. So calm to stand and stare. Work up an appetite with a robust walk up to the Tin Man and cap it all off with excellent coffee and cake. Car parking charges reasonable as well.
