This is a spectacular place to stay, not only because of the stunning location but the accommodation is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The hosts Helen and Graham are wonderful - very welcoming, helpful and laid back and always keen to assist in any way if called upon. As a working croft there is the added attraction of watching the various animals grazing nearby. I also took the opportunity of having a massage with Helen which I would also recommend. This area of the highlands affords great opportunities for walking and exploring the beautiful countryside.

Room Tip: Self catering accommodation. All rooms are quit

This immaculate house is everything I look for in a self catering property plus that extra something. Through Helen and Graham you get a taste of life on a croft. The walks in this area are numerous and varied with breathtaking scenery . The views from the house are also spectacular. This part of Scotland is not to be missed and Split Rock is the perfect place to stay.

A fabulous house with a perfect location. Our family holiday was relaxing for the grandparents and ideal for us to head off for walks leaving the teenagers happy on the wifi! The house has everything needed for a weeks holiday and the owners are very helpful and on hand. The view of the sea and being able to walk to the beech within minutes was just fab. The local shop was a gentle stroll for a coffee and essentials. So much to do but it was hard to leave the house due to lovely weather. Would recommend a visit.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Split Rock Croft this April in the room on the first floor. Everything was newly renovated and the room had stunning views, Helen was a great host and we just loved her breakfast! Would love to stay there again, highly recommended place and area!
