Suitable for all with stunning views. Sean was very welcoming with gifts and knowledge. I even found a chippy van in Ardara town that catered for gluten free. Many more adventures to be had
What a great place to stay excellent accommodation with some of the best views I have ever seen. The owner Sean gave some great advice on where to go and what to do.I would strongly recommend this property. Thanks Pat.
A huge thank you to Sean for letting us stay at his cottage, as nice as the pictures are they really do not do the place justice. Upon our arrival we got a bit lost only to find out we were just 30 seconds away from the cottage which was quite funny!! The cottage is very spacious but warm and homely, It was just my husband and I with our two little yorkies. It was just us and no one around so our furry babies had the place for themselves to run and play. The views around the house were amazing , every side you looked you could see ocean and waves or water flowing as well as the mountains. Everyday had spectacular views , sunrise and sunset. As cold as it was ( real feel of -6) we got out of bed layered up and headed out to enjoy it. We saw rabbits hopping about , sheep and cows grazing. We explored Ardara as best we could. Sean was amazing , upon arrival took us inside showed us around and told us about the hidden gems to visit The Corner House Pub was one of them we really enjoyed the live music and being amongst the locals was really fun with warm friendly people. We really appreciated the wine and box of chocolates upon arrival ,it started off our stay on such a lovely and positive note. We stayed for 3 nights which was nice but not long enough , if we could we would have tried to extend our stay.Having said all of the above I thought would be nice to get a winter review in. We wanted a relaxing break away and that's exactly what we got!! So guys dont dont wait for summer to treat yourself do it now ;-)
So thank you Sean once again , We will be back very soon.

Sean was so friendly. Met us and gave us insights into the best beaches and food...he was spot on with all the advice.
The house is so nice, clean cosy and has everything you need. The photos don't do it justice. Views are stunning and the location is so peaceful. A little gem for sure....oh and the wine and chocolates on arrival are such a lovely touch.
While the house is not modern, it provided a homey base from which to explore Donegal. The location is truly memorable. Ard A Mhaoire is located at the end of the Loughros Peninsula, with some of the most amazing views to be found. We will always remember staying at this gem.
