This cottage is ideal for explorers.it is within easy reach of great beaches, a nature reserve, and coastal drives. We stayed two nights and found the fire ready prepped after our day of cycling. It is has everything you could need and the the bed was so comfy! We wished we had booked a longer stay. The pub was 20 mins on bike..5mins by car. Great food in Nancy's bar ! Portnoo and maghera beaches 20-30 mins driving distances. Teresa the owner is so lovely! I highly recommend this place.
We came here as we have been in ComDonegal in the past and wanted to see other parts. The location suited as it was pet friendly near to a town and within easy reach of where we had wanted to visit on this occasion.
The cottage itself was in excellent order. Very clean, all necessary cups, cutlery, heating, tv, very comfortable.
We also met the owner who welcomed us and was very helpful.
Really enjoyed our stay.
We stayed at this cottage for two weeks in late September and had a fantastic holiday - Teresa the owner was friendly and helpful, and the premises were very clean, comfortable and well fitted out throughout including a large fully equipped kitchen. The location is peaceful, private and surrounded by stunning wild scenery with great beaches and the village of Ardara all a short drive away. We would happily recommend this cottage as an ideal base for relaxing and exploring this amazing part of Donegal.
Portnoo beach a must for walking, plus maghra beach and caves, brilliant drives all-round into the genies.
Great place to just relax and get away from it all! The cottage was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need, very comfortable and warm. Great for our 7 and 11 year old, turn right out the gate and within 5 minutes you are at a fantastic beach in Narin, has great parking, lifeguards, toilets and a cafe. Bring the wetsuits and body boards very safe and great fun. Also just on round at Portnoo you can pier jump! Maghera beach a must as well. Good old fashioned beach holiday with no WiFi! High recommend this holiday cottage and location.
