Despite the weird name (the pub is on the site of a battle between the Irish, and Viking raiders) and being underneath Howth railway station, this is a really nice pub. There is a cosy log fire, and the staff are friendly. We only had time for a "swifty" before our train arrived, but the food looked good, and we intend to return.
