Very clean, comfortable accommodation. Would recommend Crossfields for perfect base to visit the Peak District.
This bungalow was perfect for a stay in Bakewell. Literally a 5 minute walk to the centre and a lovely park nearby with a stream. We took our 2 dogs and the back garden was perfect to let them roam, enclosed and private. The bungalow was spotless and had everything you would need. Plenty of space on the driveway for your car and visitors.
My grandma is disabled and was easily able to access the bungalow, just one step up to the kitchen with the assistance of a handle which was useful. Lovely furnishing, comfy beds and an all round great stay.
A clean, well equipped bungalow only a few minutes walk away from the park and then onto Bakewell centre. Lovely enclosed patio area at the back and spacious garage was so useful for keeping walking boots etc.
Fantastic stay. Ideal for dogs as it has an enclosed garden. The welcome basket on arrival is a lovely touch. Bungalow was beautifully clean and comfortable. Easy 5-10 minute walk to pubs/shops.
A great bungalow with sunny garden and only 5minutes walk to bakewell through a lovely park. Its a very dog friendly cottage, back door leads to a spacious clean garage great for drying dogs and youselves off after walks.
The property is in a very quiet area and is very clean and comfortable and the perfect base for exploring the local area.
Bakewell is a lovely place has kept a village feel with a nice market on a Monday that is well attended. There is a good range of independant shops as well as some bigger names.
The whole place is so dog friendly all but one of the pubs (The Peacock) welcome dogs with treats and water on the bar and most of the shops as well.
The Castle pub has lovely food with even a doggy menu (the sausage was a big hit with pup) . The Wheatsheaf and The Manners are recommended stops for food as well.
There are many walks from the cottage nice to leave the car at home, The Monsal trail and river wye just two. Further a field chatsworth house and the Peak Railway.
