Beautiful in its simplicity, this little church is a perfect place for calm reflection. An easy walk from the town center, we very much enjoyed spending a bit of time here on a recent snowy day. The play of shadows and sunlight inside the very thick walls make for some interesting photos. This place won't take your breath away as some cathedrals will, but it's lovely to visit, have a seat, and contemplate how long others have been gathering there to worship.

I'm not into religious stuff but the Saxon church in BoA is well worth a visit. Small, well maintained and charming. It's centrally located and only takes about 20 minutes to thoroughly check it out. Recommended.

A must visit on a trip to Bradford on avon, it only takes 10 minutes or so but is well worth a visit, while you are there pop in to The Holy Trinity church - its just been renovated and has the feel more of a small cathedral than a church

This beautiful ancient building was used as a school in 1715. It was in1857 that it was recognised as an ancient church. An interesting guide book can be bought at the local museum and that suggests that you have a good look around the outside before entering the church. A self guide leaflet of Bradford on Avon walks you past the church. I have visited Bradford on Avon twice and both times have enjoyed the church. It is one of those buildings that you feel you want to visit again.

In the middle of Bradford-on-Avon this historic site is a little gem. It's old, small and well maintained. Adds to the charm of this wonderful village. Pop in and have a look.
