“Comfortable & Good Value”
Reviewed 10 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

These former weaver's cottages are situated on the Tory Terraces above the town and whilst it is a good hike up to No. 10 (foot access only), the views and situation make the effort very worthwhile. We self-catered during our 2 nights here and found the kitchen to be well equipped. There is a good off-licence in town with some interesting real ales, so need to go pub hunting unless you want to!

“Lovely place to stay for all sorts of breaks”
Reviewed 26 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

This is the 3rd year in a row we are staying here.
Though a lot of guests at 10 Tory stay here for shorter breaks we find there are lots of things to see and do in the area to stay here for longer.
BOA itself has quite a few lovely shops and pubs to visit and is ideal for walking. It's also the perfect base to discover National Trust, English Heritage or other properties in Wiltshire or Somerset.
As the kennet and avon canal cycle path is around the corner you could also go and cycle to Bath. Coming from the Netherlands we are spoiled for cycle paths and if you have a choice we would recommend mountainbikes. On the way back from Bath we suggest you take the two tunnels path. You cycle through and old railway tunnel, magnificent!
When you are tired of shopping, walking and cycling 10 Tory is a great place to relax too. You might even only do that :-)

“Unique & special spot, exactly as described!”
Reviewed 14 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

10 Tory is a special spot, and the description provided is very accurate. It is a quiet little hideaway, but within easy walking of Bradford on Avon town centre. You need to be able to handle walking a distance up/down hill to/from your car or town, but this all added to the character and charm of the location for us. It is a great place to explore the myriad things to see and do in the area, whether on foot, by car, or even by boat!
It was a peaceful and restful spot for us to return to, with its own view of the Cherhill white horse in the distance. The steep terraces of cottages were full of interest and charm, and a real suntrap. The location adds to the sense of discovery and exploration, but could just as easily be somewhere a couple could hole up for some quality time together.
Everything provided is of good quality, wonderfully clean and bright, and attractive. Masses of information was provided on things to see and do, and on every aspect of the accommodation, plus local support numbers.
There is no question that this is a real "find" for the traveller looking for something just a little out of the ordinary and special. Enjoy!

“Quiet, comfortable with lovely views in a character terrace”
Reviewed 19 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at 10 Tory, and could have stayed much longer. It is a perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside, Bath, Lacock, Wells etc. Bradford on Avon itself is worth exploring.

The flat has a spacious kitchen and living/dining, with everything you could need to self cater, although there is no microwave. There is a dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer. Great if you are travelling around the country, as we are, as it gave us a break from hand washing.

The bedroom is comfortable, although there is not a lot of room around the bed on one side, as it is almost against the wall. Could be a problem if you have mobilitty issues.

I wouldn't recommend for mobility problems as it is quite a walk from parking, including steps. You have to leave the car in a nearby cul de sac and walk about 3 minutes to reach the flat.

It is a lovely place to stay, quiet, sunny, the flat is full of light with lovely views over Bradford on Avon across to the white horse carved on the opposite hill. There is a little garden to sit in. It is just a couple of minutes walk downhill to pubs and restaurants, and there are supermarkets in walking distance too. There are character buildings all round, including the flat itself.

“A charming little nest”
Reviewed 21 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We stayed here for 5 wonderful days (was our honeymoon), i didn't regret my choice. The place is a bit difficult to access (on top of a small hill), but it's widely worth it! Clean, well equiped, Confortable and excellent value for money.the down is also absolutely beautiful.
