My wife and I have just left this beautiful country home. We stayed in the farm house room which was in the main house. The room was very spacious, comfortable with a lovely view. The owners were fantastic, very welcoming and couldnt have been more accommodating. Each morning there was a wide variety on the breakfast buffet. The breakfast's that were cooked for us each morning were delicious made with fresh eggs which must have been from the chickens on the land. The town is only a short walk away. Overall a very relaxing and marvelous place to stay. Would highly recommend !
We stayed here while helping an elderly aunt in Bath who has moved into a care home, so not a relaxing break. However returning to this lovely cottage with the log burner blazing was a perfect retreat. Plenty of lovely pubs and restaurants nearby in Bradford on Avon to eat in too. Would love to come back again to explore the area and enjoy the cosines of the cottage!
We were two families who stayed in the adjoining cow byre cottages. The cottages were lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. Perfect location very close to bradford on avon. The children loved exploring the garden and meeting the resident shetland ponies, chickens and ducks. Also only about 20 minutes from Longleat Safari park so a a great base for exloring the area. Pauline and Nigel were perfect hosts and we will hopefully be staying again soon.
