Worth the bucket list

Glad we visited on a ‘typical’ Irish weather day which made it all the more atmospheric.

Visitor centre is good & extensive and then nice walk down into the bays with the audio guide telling you what’s what. The guide is good & informative expect for the faux badinage about trying to give the narrator a nickname.

The Causeway itself is wide open accessible and probably smaller than you imagined, but no less impressive, especially given that you can clamber all over it.

Keep going on the ‘red route’ and you see further interesting stuff and get a great view down from the top of the cliffs after a fairly steep climb.

Hi brought my family to this sight while in Belfast for a few days and have to say it was well worth the visit for me anyway, my 15 year old was 'cool' about it but the 10yr and 6yr old really enjoyed the experience, My wife and I really enjoyed it but like other reviewers I would add that the admission is expensive we bought a famiy ticket and and it was £30, which you really have to pay if you want to use and get out of the carpark. If I was in the area and went back again, I would park further down the road and not pay... what you get for your money is access to the visitors center to by merchandise, and audio guide per person. which we didn't really use as it was better to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful coast and natural wonder.

We drove from Belfast to the this lovely location. On arrival we were told that we had to purchase tickets at £11.50 each to park our hired car. I mentioned that we only wanted to see the coastline, but the National Trust person said we would need to purchase these tickets to park, or park off sight and walk in free! However, there is nowhere to park, and actually saw about five cars being booked by traffic wardens because they were parked on a grass verge nearby, so beware! The walk to the sea front is quite a distance and they provide a bus service. So after purchasing tickets at £11.50 we were told about this service, however we wanted to walk down. On return there is quite a climb, so we thought we would catch the bus, only to be told that it was for National Trust members only! They wanted another £1 each for this service. I declined on principle! Total rip off!!!!

We drove up from Ireland just to see this. Worth it, even in the rain. Free. If you don't want to walk, take the affordable bus. We recommend walking up the stairs to the top as well for a great view of the whole cliff and ocean.

No 1 you do not need to pay, don't go through the visitor centre entrance, just to the right is a bridge, go under and your there, this is perfectly legal.
Wear tough footwear and wrap up .
Catch the bus down and back as it a bit of a trek to the stones, unless your fit then walk 😥 It's great place, enjoy.

We we're on a bus tour and stopped at this attraction. Quite honestly we could have spent the whole day there. There are a lot of options as to how to experience this great phenomenon. You can either walk down to the water's edge or you can take a bus. You also get a personal audio box that allows you to hear all about this. Additionally there is a great museum and we found that the gift shop was the best shot we had ever been to. The prices are reasonable and the merchandise is very unique and of high quality.
