Stopped here after visiting the Giants Causeway. We had been in to Portrush but could not find anything open other than take away places. Advertised food all day. Good parking outside with fantastic views from the cliff top. Reception area was modern and fresh and staff very friendly, there is a hotel bar area but staff directed us to dining room. We were met and shown to table in a huge dining room area (the hotel dining room set up for dinner service). We were the only people in this huge room and it felt a little strange but within 30 mins it was very busy both with hotel guests and drop in trade. We were given the full menu and also a special offer option 2 courses for £13.95 or 3 courses for £15.95. Menu had plenty of choice. We ordered the three course option. Drinks came with a jug of water which was a nice touch. Food was homecooked, portion size was very good. Its basic food so if you want fancy dont eat here but for value for money and taste it was very good. Yes the dining room is dated in comparison with the rest of the hotel but apart from that if you want a good value meal in a lovely location with helpful friendly staff then call in. My only gripes were a) one of the waitresses was serving food with her long hair down, basic food handling hygeiene would have it tied back, b) she kept leaning accross the table to take my plate rather than walking round the table, pretty basic waitressing stuff, she was however the only one that let the rest of the staff down as they were all very good and c) the constant Beatles music on a loop! Overall very nice meal in a very nice location. Much better than anything we saw on offer in Portrush. Would stay at this hotel just from this visit alone.

Stopped here for lunch on a really hot day, because the town was so crowded.
There's plenty of parking and the modern reception area was cool and airy, with a pleasant lady behind the desk. The cloakroom was clean and well stocked.

On entering the large dining room we felt like we'd stepped back in time, and this was echoed when we saw the staff uniforms and the menu. Service was polite, quick and efficient and there was a wonderful view from the panoramic window. The other diners were family groups or elderly couples.

The food reminded us of things we'd eaten in the seventies and eighties. Everything came in huge portions and there were some strange combinations. One of our party ordered a prawn open sandwich and received a thick wedge of bread covered in prawns and sauce, accompanied by all manner of salads, traditional, potato, pasta etc to the point that the notion of a sandwich was lost.
The fish and chips were fine and the pasta was nice, although spoilt by the overdressed salad which accompanied it. All the portions were huge, especially given each dish came with a large helping of chips, garlic fries, potato skins, champ, or tossed salad as well. We felt a smaller quantity with a little more refinement would improve the offering here.

A cousin took me for dinner here. Lovely table overlooking the sea - great view ! Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. I had something from the carvery. Meat and vegetables were excellent. Sometimes carveries struggle to provide fresh-tasting vegetables but this was an exception. Good selection to go with the meat and pretty good selection of sauces, too. Very enjoyable.

My sister and her husband ate here yesterday and was not happy about the way the staff spoke to her asked if they would hurry up and finish the food they were shocked at the way they were spoken to ,this woman was shouting all over the place her attitude was terrible and I would advise anyone not to go there and listen to her ,food wasn’t bad just the manager
