Overpriced and basic food. Menu outside doesn't mention than sides are not included so had to pay extra for meal basics such as chips or salad or mash etc. Crammed into a table where we were practically sitting on the people at the next table. Dark, gloomy interior. Feel ripped off.Wish I had read the reviews of the restaurant before going in and we would have avoided Luke the plague.
My wife and i are just back from 4days holidays in portrush we stayed in the port hotel a great place to stay excellent accommodation and the friendly staff are great they couldn’t do enough for us they are great and the food is excellent and affordable we wouldn’t stay anywhere else 5star service Brian and Carol B
Excellent stay ,nice hotel in the town vert close to everything.
Got a warm friendly welcome from the start ,the room was spacious and adequate, king-size bed and was more than enough for a stop over .
Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyed it
No lift at the hotel to the upper floors which made getting up and down good crack, lol 😆
We made the mistake of eating in the restaurant. The food was of very poor quality and overpriced for what it was, works canteens do it much better. Service was acceptable. The gents toilets were sparkling clean and fresh smelling. Perhaps the cleaner should swap places with the chef and take the same high standards to the food.
Went with my family for more or less a weeks stay, immediately you are greeted by smiling faces and kind staff who are not only good at their job but are lovely to talk and interact with. Rooms and most importantly toilets were very clean and presented nicely. Food was always lovely to eat at good portions and to top it off you are a 5 minute walk from a range of amenities and bars to explore Portrush further, amazing hotel!
