This hotel is better inside than it looks outside, nice people, good rooms, very comfy beds and a great shower. Meals and breakfast all good, but, there was a wedding on the night we stayed and this descended into wedding guests fighting and shouting for an hour at 1am. The hotel did not appear to have any control over this and a lack of apology next day has cost the star. Worth staying, but hopefully a rowdy wedding is a one off

A night with Hugo and friends on a fund raiser. The first half off the show was a little slow with some antique type off country song's. Nothing modern unfortunately. Only one singer I recognized, Susan McCann.
Overall the night was fare. Even the ballot was a tad unhearable.
The hotel laid on the rooms, the waiting staff were helpful and courteous.

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst on an Acklams coach holiday. The staff are friendly, helpful and on the whole, pleasant. The hotel is clean and tidy and the rooms large with plenty of storage capacity. Tea and coffee are provided in your room also an ironing board and iron plus a hair dryer. The bed was huge and comfortable although softer pillows would have been nice but, when asked I was told they only had what was provided.
Breakfast was well presented and the chef cooked fried and poached eggs to order. Dinner was interesting. Starters where very good as was the sweet, main not so much as the chef insisted on presenting potatoes 3 ways every night with just a bare minimum of veg, the potatoes had an odd taste to them and not very pleasant eating.
Other wise a nice hotel.

Stayed at hotel for two nights with family. Hotel clean spacious and everything was convenient to use or get to. Staff were the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff I have ever met. Food was lovely. We ate in restaurant and had breakfast both mornings. Both were great. Great parking and easy to get to. Would definitely return. Worthy of a four star rating for sure.
