“IDEAL LOCATION AND PERFECT ACCOMMODATION”
Reviewed 24 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Wight Lodge provides the perfect accommodation for any type of holiday requirement; it’s perfect for a single traveller or large groups of friends and families. It is set in an idyllic location with easy access by foot to coastal walks and sandy beach. The local beach is good for young children, dog friendly and relatively calm for water sports for all age groups. The Isle of Wight has many attractions all of which are within a short car journey from Wight Lodge. The needles are the furthest away but still within about 45 minutes. Local pubs and restaurants are plentiful and offer a good range of ales and food.

Liked best: Views from the house and closeness to the local beach
Liked least: We had to vacate by 10 am, difficult for a young family. This is unreasonable given that we were not allowed access on arrival until 3 pm

“Another superb trip”
Reviewed 30 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This is our return visit to Wight lodge. Arrived to an immaculate house. It is on three levels, has incredibly creaky floorboards, but that is the only downside! The views from the living room and dining room are superb. A clear view of the Solent and all the boats, cruise liners, sIling boats that use it. You are supplied with timetables, info leaflets galore, there are videos, DVDs, games book, for young and old. It is like a home from home. They even supply equipment and towels for dogs visiting, of which we didn't have !. Very impressed yet again. Lovely house and I am sure that we will visit again ,

“Superb”
Reviewed 11 August 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We arrived to a beautiful cottage, all perfectly clean, and the bedrooms reminded us of a hotel, all the effort to make them look good. The views from the upstairs living room, dining room and kitchen, just HAVE to be seen. You could never bore with the view, it is stunning. The house is spacious for a family of 4, but not as comfortable with 6' once the grandparents arrived. It is a 5 min walk to Seagrove Bay beach, where we spent hours, it is a clean safe beach, where you can also go crabbing when the tide is out. Great place for young and old a like. We stayed for 2 weeks and did not want to leave!
