Why bother elsewhere when you have it at hand or in the car? The clarity, cleanliness, helpfulness, calm, a breakfast which even if could be more complete is up to this type of establishment and the price, are the strengths of this establishment.
Everything, the room, bed, bathroom. Situation was just off the main route, felt secure with passcode gates. Welcome was good and share of info was good. The garden was lovely, very spacious, with two gite units at the bottom. Breakfast was tasty, served in a glass conservatory. Back on the road at 8:30 after breakfast.
The hotel is ideally located for Bordeaux airport, less than 10 mins drive. Plenty of parking available. Check-in was efficient and the room allocated was clean if basic, but then what do you expect for the price? The downside was the bed; as hard as rock and the room was too hot, but too noisy with the aircon, so not a wink of sleep. Bathroom clean and functional and with a great shower. Not keen on shower curtains though.
The restaurant is next door and served a pretty good dinner by all accounts.
Does what it says on the tin ... basic, but cheap, clean and comfortable room in a good location just off the A20. More than adequate for us, not too far from the usual fast food outlets and right next door to a Poivre Rouge restaurant.
Great value for the price. Very utilitarian and small rooms but very comfortable with excellent shower and beds The room was air conditioned, which is unusual in budget hotels. Breakfast is basic but good. The best part, for us, was the location. Parking was free and the bus to central Bordeaux was just across the street, which saved the hassle of driving through congested streets.
