THIS IS NEVER A HOTEL,IT'S MORE OF A SOCIAL HOUSING CENTRE! I have never felt so scared to stay somewhere. There where a lots of men hanging around drinking beer, just making you feel very uncomfortable. I have 2 daughter's 19, 22yrs and would not let them outside alone. When we arrived there were a group of men drink from a balcony,taking far to much interest in my daughter's. I mentioned this to the receptionist who said that she would make a note of this. The room was a nightmare, disgusting dirty and very tired looking. We were kept awake during the night by lots of noise and people talking to the small hours. Unfortunately we had to have the shutter down but door opened as the room was like an oven. When checking out I asked to speak to the manager who told me that I would have to take my complaint up with the agency who I booked the hotel through. The only good thing about this place is it is very close to the airport.

Even with the low prices, it should be less for the quality you get. There was a smell of rank drains, the taps were encrusted with limescale, no aircon, like an oven, filthy floors, thin walls and umbareable noise that sounded like cars were driving in the window. We hated it so much that we got in the cat at one in the morning and drove home. Do not ever stay here.

After booking for an overnight stay before an early flight next morning, I began to worry that the several poor reviews might prove right. Fortunately that was not the case.
We had booked primarily for the chance to heat up our own food as we’d been surprised to find, on an earlier stay in a tiny hotel room in May, that most of the restaurants in this are close on Friday and Saturday nights!
Our room was very spacious, well equipped with microwave, 2 ring hob, fridge, saucepans, crockery and cutlery, table for four and was perfectly clean. I often wonder what people expect for a bargain deal. We paid just over €30 and were delighted.
The staff were friendly and gave us clear directions to the nearest petrol station and supplied a hairdryer on request.
There were a few cigarette ends on the stairwell, but if guests were more thoughtful this wouldn’t be an issue.
The highlight of our brief stay was the sudden arrival around 7pm of a huge flock of birds flying round the tall trees in the courtyard below our room before they settled for the night. The sound was lovely.
A mere 5 minute drive to the airport next day was another bonus. Will definitely stay again if flying from Bordeaux.
