Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised... from the tuktuks, lighting and decor to the extensive menu and tasty food. Thai dress for the staff would certainly add to the authenticity of this hidden gem.

New ownership/management I think. Great authentic food, spicy and tasty, took me back to my days in Bangkok.

We were a party of over 40 gathered to celebrate a birthday. The company was great but the food - buffet style @ $44 head was terrible along with the service. The food lacked flavour, was served late and was not hot enough. Seating is on cheap plastic chairs and it was freezing cold. They supplied blankets for warmth - but not enough blankets and had gas heaters - but said they didn’t have any gas so couldn’t light them. The fruit salad - unripe plums, apple, orange and pineapple - inedible. Then it came time to pay - they said they usually only do one bill per party but would allow 1 per table - the first person up was told they had to pay for 9 - who does that - it was a set price - and if someone skipped without paying they had the organisers details. They were quite nasty about it. Don’t go here

What an amazing place, Great Food, Great Service.

First time i have been there and would be happy to go again.

After a delayed arrival to Auckland and late check in to our hotel - I found this restaurant on maps and rang to check if they could do a take away order. Half an hour before closing time they were more than obliging - lucky for us the food was delicious. A selection of entrees - curry puffs, beef satays, angel chicken wings and boxing chicken as well as massaman curry and steamed rice fed our family of four.
Would definitely recommend and hope to return before the end of our trip
