“Excellent accommodation, warm and comfortable”
Reviewed 29 October 2011 for a stay in October 2011

This was our fourth stay at the apartment. It is very warm and comfortable, everything you could possibly need. Lots of space. Nice views, hotel and pub close by with good food. Would recommend this apartment, we will definitely be staying again next year!

“Great spot, warm and comfortable”
Reviewed 21 October 2011 for a stay in October 2011

Great location, backing onto Neptunes Staircase but still close to the Fort William amenities. Tom offered us a great welcome with lots of advice on what to do in the area and an offer of any gear we might need for the kids, since we were travelling internationally. The place was warm (important for Australians) and very comfortable, stocked with everything we needed. Very comfortable and the kids loved it because they could see bunnys across the road. Would highly recommend.

“Great for Canal Path Walking”
Reviewed 6 October 2011 for a stay in October 2011

Great location for canal fans. Just out the back door and you are beside Neptunes Ladder on the Caldonia Canal. Property has everying you need in terms of facilites, including a downstairs mud room. Pub is just two doors down, and all the facilites you need just a couple of miles down the road in Ft William. Not to be missed are the rugby games and practices viewed from the livingroom window.

“Superb Accommodation”
Reviewed 26 September 2011 for a stay in September 2011

Arriving at the tail end of a hurricane with 3 days of solid rain we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Everything we needed was here, from a friendly welcome through to warm cosy nights after a days walking. Excellent location, especially for the dogs, as the canal is accessible from the bottom of the garden and with stunning beaches a short drive away, both dogs and humans had plenty of exercise. Easy to walk into Fort William along the edge of the Loch, with a visit to the Dog and Gruel Pub for food and ale a must. Excellent dog friendly apartment in a stunning location and I would recommend it to anyone.

“Beautiful location, lovely accommodation and welcoming owners”
Reviewed 17 September 2011 for a stay in December 2010

We arrived in one of the coldest weeks of the year to a wonderful warm welcome. The owners Tom and Julie were delightful and could not have done more to make sure that we were comfortable. They were able to offer great advice on where to visit and what to do, which was a real help. Mountain View is in a lovely spot and I was very impressed with the high standard of the accommodation and cleanliness. I particularly enjoyed soaking in the lovely roll top bath after walks through the snow by the canal. I very much hope to go and stay there again.
