Booked this by mistake but are glad we did. Great cottage, so close to the sea and the shops.
High tide means you don't see the mussels growing so make sure you go back at low tide, fascinating.
La fautaise is a charming holiday let very much enjoyed by our family of 2 grandparents, their son and his 10 year old daughter. The owners kindly left us a tray of tomatoes and melons, much appreciated. The property is situated on a quiet road on the outskirts of the resort, this necessitated a walk into the town or the beach, but the walk is very pleasant and is of no hardship to the reasonably fit. There is a market on Sunday & Thursday with
a wide variety of goods. Also a small supermarket with very friendly staff & also other. specialist food shops. Many other shops sell clothing, accessories and gifts. Also several reasonably priced restaurants or cafes. The beach is very safe with lovely golden sands.
