Just returned from a relaxing three night break with my husband, another couple and four doggies.
The cottage is located a stones throw from the Wye river on the edge of the village and adjoins the owners home. First impressions were excellent, space for two cars and a large garden for our fur babies. Inside, things got better and better.
We were met by the lovely owner Diane, a welcome pack of home made scones, jam, cream and fresh bread and treats for the dogs. The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything we could have needed. Diane and Graham had also remembered it was one of our birthdays and had very kindly left a card.. So thoughtful.
Upstairs both bedrooms were furnished to a high standard, we all slept like babies.
The cottage and surroundings are lovely but what really sets this place apart from any other self catering accommodation we've stayed in is the personal touches. The owners have thought of everything and go out of their way to make you welcome. It's also really rare to find somewhere of such a high standard that will take this amount of dogs.
Thank you for such a memorable stay, we've returned home with great memories and four very happy, tired doggies :-)More
