Le Torri was the third hotel on a walking tour organised through Inntravel. We walked here from Cravanza, about 12 miles, the last bit being up a very steep hill!! The first building you come to is a bar! Can't remember the name but the staff were very welcoming and the cold beer was even more welcoming. The hotel is just a few more yards up the hill in the centre of the village. It is a very old building and bursting with character and our base for two nights.
Like the bar and the beer it was a welcome sight. The welcome we received at Le Torri, unlike the beer, was very warm and friendly. The couple who run the hotel were charming and helpful.
We had been given upgraded rooms which were more like a small apartment, furnished in a modern style with a kitchen/dining area, lounge area, shower room and bedroom with a six foot double bed, plenty of room for us to spread out in. There were lovely views of the valley and across to the hilltop village of La Morra. Everything was very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was amazing with an extensive array of fresh local foods and home made preserves. We had already been eating too much at our previous stops and there was no risk of going hungry at Le Torri. Anyway we needed a good breakfast for our 20k walk to La Morra!
The packed lunch provided on our last day was excellent. Fresh bread rolls, ham, cheese, tomato, fruit and a pastry, simple but good.
We enjoyed our stay in Castiglione Falletto.

Stayed for two nights in this charming hotel with excellent hosts. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean with fab views.

We arrived without luggage after an airline mix up. Hotel owners could not have been kinder or more helpful. They made many phone calls on our behalf to the airline and couriers to try to get us reunited with our luggage. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They even gave us the use of their washing machine.
They were also very helpful when we wanted information about visiting nearby Alba and gave us lots of useful information as well as a map and bus timetable. Genuinely caring people and perfect hosts

The breakfast offers something for everyone including a wide choice of cereals, fruits, yoghurts, breads, cakes, croissants, jams, honeys, hams, cheeses, eggs, juices etc. All delicious.
Our room was stocked with organic products and tbere were recycling bags on each floor to help people do their bit to protect the environment.

Grazie.

This hotel and the restaurant is really worth a visit! The view from the rooms, the jacuzi and from the restaurant is amazing. You even have a view from the bathroom if you open the window! The rooms are clean and beautiful. The breakfast is heavenly, and you can sit outside. Take a morning walk around the little village or down the hills between the vineyards. The dinner at the restaurant is Michelin-good. I would definitly recommend Le Torri if you are staying in this area!

Very friendly and helpful hotel owners.
Hotel room was nice, with large terrasse sporting great views of the Piemontese hills!
No air con - need to sleep with open windows in case of hot weather, which we had when we stayed there. We did not mind, though, as the place is quiet.
Breakfast was great with lots of local produce, and superb cappuccino!
All in all a very nice stay - thanks!

This is a lovely small hotel in the beautiful Barolo area. The views from our room and everywhere we went were wonderful. The managers were extremely nice and helpful. While the rooms do not have air conditioning, and it was quite hot while we were there, the fans kept it cool enough to sleep. Breakfasts were fabulous with lots of choices and a wonderful home made yogurt and fresh fruit that was my "go to" starter before moving on to pastries and meats.
