We enjoyed our one night stay in Gloria.
The hotel is very clean and has a beautiful location and wonderful view.
Hotel staff is super friendly with highly concierge knowledge that could be helpful to fill you trip days. That made our stay very special to feel at home.
Unfortunately we didn't have time to try its dinner, but the breakfast is very good!

I will start off by explaining that I did not stay at Hotel Gloria but had such an amazing experience there that I felt the need to write a review. While visiting Switzerland, I decided that I wanted to do some paragliding and the company we were looking for was near Beatenberg but we had trouble locating them. I went into Hotel Gloria to simply ask for directions but the way that Jackie greeted me and helped me was truly incredible! Despite knowing that I was not a guest at the hotel, she took so much time out of her day to not only guide me in the right direction, but also made numerous phone calls for me and made other recommendations/suggestions for the rest of my trip. I have been to this amazing country and area several times and I will absolutely make it a point to stay at Hotel Gloria the next time I go there mainly because of my experience and also for the amazing views of this beautiful looking hotel. This hotel is in one of the most amazing locations. Panoramic views across the valley and over the Lake Thunersee. The room was spacious, clean and had a balcony where you can sit and watch the stunning views for hours on end. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and constantly checking if there was anything we needed. The restaurant was great and has an excellent wine selection from across the world.
Our stay here was an amazing experience and we look forward to staying again.

The staff and owners really make this hotel something special. It's like staying in someone's home with an incredible chef, the best view, great wine... this was one of the highlights of our trip from Barcelona to Budapest. Do yourself a favor and just go.
This hotel was amazing to say the least!! Service, staff, rooms, food, location and most of all... that view!! Everyone spoke English, happy to help, rooms were very spacious and clean and away from the crowds. The complementary breakfast is also great! All the ingredients were made from within the town itself which I thought was pretty cool. Eggs, jams etc. The wine and restaurant was also 5/5 stars for us. Definitely will be staying here again on our next visit!
