Enjoyed the scenic views and used the binoculars to zoom in on the wildlife. But keep moving as the sandflies were very active!

We stopped here to enjoy the view. The weather was clearing from the south and so it was blustery. The sea was looking spectacular with waves and white water everywhere. Well worth 10 minutes from a drive. Thanks DOC.

Don't go past here unless you get a photo. Rain or shine it is worth it. Toilets here also. Very busy place in peak tourist season. An umbrella is very useful on a West coast trip.

An important site, in that it was where then Prime Minister Hollyoake attended in 1965 to formally launch the completion of the NH6 roadway , the first linking north and southof the island. It is an interesting place to view from, although far from the finest on this scenic road. And no toilet facilities available when we stopped!
