The lookout gives views over the ocean across to a rocky point. It's ok.
Probably of greater interest for many of the visitors when we were there was the fact there were toilets.
Ok for a pit stop.
The views are amazing but the day we were there was very windy so a jacket is a very good idea for all travellers. Photography is a must for both the sea views and the statue to the opening of the Haast Pass Road in 1965
One of the attraction on our list. it offers scenic view of the coastline with the rocks, very blue ocean and greenery.
They were fixing the lookout platform so not sure if that would make a difference or not but otherwise there was nothing to see really but there were toilets.
We came upon this lookout on our drive from Queenstown to Te Anau. It is definitely worth stopping as it offers some incredible views.
This view point is along the road and is well attended. It comes up quickly, so know where it is if you want to stop. The lookout is closed because of deteriorating rock wall, but the view along the walk way is still great. There is a bathroom building too. A sign warns visitors to watch for thieves since some cars and belongings have been stolen apparently. Best views are from here!
