My stay at Parkhotel Bellevue Adelboden was great in every ways. All the staff, from front desk to restaurant, were really helpful and friendly. They definitely make you feel welcomed. I was very happy with my room, it wasn't large but properly arranged. I like the entire hotel decor as it really blends well with the nature/mountain view. And the view from the hotel? Absolutely breathtaking! Judging by its location up a hill, I don't think any hotel in the area has a better view.
The restaurant was also fantastic. I had a 5 course dinner on both nights of my stay. Again, excellent food and service. I would, without a doubt, recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Room tip: Pay extra for the mountain view room

Watch out! This hotel is clearly overpriced. It needs renovation. No air conditioning. They rent out small rooms at the back of the hotel specifically on booking.com Some rooms are so hot you can't even sleep. So you think you make a good deal and in fact it becomes hell since you can't sleep. Our room was at the standard of a 2 star hotel for an exaggerated price. Carpet dirty in hallway. Breakfast basic. Staff at the reception useless: the only thing they do is repeat the same sentence. And although they know they have issues with room temperature (check trip advisor), they don't do anything about it. And when you ask for a solution, first they pretend you are the only one with this problem, then when you tell them people already complained on trip advisor, they dig out a tiny space heater (yes, it seems their rooms are also cold in Winter) that you can use as a fan. Quite pretentious and disappointing.

We spent 4 nights at the Parkhotel on a walking break with friends. We were given a warm welcome by the friendly and efficient staff, and throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms, although not large, are well furnished and extremely comfortable and appear to have been recently refurbished. The bathroom was well equipped with bath and overhead shower and there were plenty of good quality toiletries and fluffy towels. We were also provided with robes and slippers, together with a bag to carry everything you needed to the spa. A turndown service each evening meant you could request extra water or whatever was needed.
The Spa is fantastic, with swimming pool, gym and sauna, steam rooms and treatment rooms There is a fabulous huge outdoor spa pool where you can relax in the warm water overlooking the spectacular mountain scenery. Plenty of relaxation space as well, with comfortable beds and complimentary hot / cold drinks available.
The food, both breakfast and dinner, was delicious and well presented and the service was friendly and very professional. We made sure we were always back from our walk in time for complimentary afternoon cakes.
Adelboden has masses of beautiful walks, both in the valley and up in the mountains and this hotel makes an excellent base to walk from.
On a final note - we were so pleased to be able to keep our room until we departed at 16:00 on our last day. This meant that we were able to enjoy our holiday right up until the moment of departure. Thank you so much to all at the Parkhotel Bellevue

This year our family had another clear proof of the uniqueness of the Swiss hospitality concept. This June, while exploring further opportunities in Berner Oberland, we opted for a short (5 days) staying in Parkhotel Bellevue in Adelboden that appeared a total pleasance. Starting from exceptionally welcome attitude by the management and the staff and finishing with the exquisite customer care in servicing and support. An absolutely fantastic accommodation with a view and comfort. A superb Gault Millau listed kitchen with a definite brand both in quality and presenting of the food. An exceptional Wine List that follows both visible collectors' passion :) and guests orienting. Unfortunately, our visiting was rather short and we couldn't enjoy a long list of SPA attractions. But we got a full swing support from the management in planning and arranging of our exploring of both local (Adelboden) and more remote surroundings (like Kandersteg). For that the hotel offers travel cards that covers most of the areal and Regional transportation destinations including busses and cable cars. I also made a note for myself that the hotel has a perfect set of infrastructure, facilities and tools for holding small-to-mid sized business meeting, seminars and conferences that might nicely influence negotiation climate or a business deal :) Our perfect staying at Parkhotel Bellevue let us to put another pin on a map in our striving for travel perfection and indisputable hospitality benchmarks.

Room tip: Classic spacious double-area room (separated in needed) with a mountain view from large balcony is an absolutely perfect choice!

Our tour group booked us here as part of our hiking trip through the Bernese Oberland. Upon arrival the receptionist was welcoming, friendly and our bags were waiting in our room already. The room was spacious, with a couch and sitting area, bathroom was roomy. No view from our room. No balcony. The bathroom had a modern sink that slanted, which is perhaps nouveau in design, but really not great functionally as your hip/thigh areas are always splashed when using it. They provide robes, slippers and bag to use the spa downstairs- the spa is nice with a nice sized swimming pool (could do small laps), and ?4 different types of saunas. No hot tub that we could find. There is an area to get a massage if you wish. Wifi worked well.
They had afternoon tea, which had 2 sweets…and I couldn't find tea or coffee, but I think that was available---it lasts only until 5pm and we reached there just before.
Walk into town is easy. Room is quiet, bed and pillows very comfortable. There is a turndown service.
Breakfast the next morning was fine- the dining area has great views. Food selection was average---no hot items. Fruit selection was slim. Bread was good.
Overall a very welcoming, friendly, comfortable hotel with a relaxing spa. I would highly recommend this hotel.
