We were on the way to Malpensa airport and wanted a little quiet, traditional place for lunch. Luck was on our side, I drove just a short distance off the main road into this village and noticed the trattoria. To the side there was an entrance to a fairly large car park, an excellent sign if they expect that many customers. We parked and went in to be welcomed by the owners.
The lunch pasta and main courses were read out and we made our selections. Most of them made sense but the owner was happy to provide English translations as well. We enjoyed all that we ate and would certainly return again. Very good value and service.
We particularly liked the friendly ambience coming not only from the owners but other customers spoke to us as well.
Everyone apart from us appeared to be locals and I find it reassuring that so many local customers would go there regularly for their lunch.
