Believe EVERYTHING others have said about this hotel

From the warm welcome, through the wonderful rooms, views and setting to the ability to grab a beer from the ‘communal’ mini bar in the shared guest sitting room , to the incredible assistance in finding and organising a restaurant for dinner, and the all around wonderful feel and warmth of this hotel it is simply fantastic. We haven’t previously given any 5 star ratings in our extended visit to Germany but Land hotel gets one and totally deserves it. Fabulous team.

Stayed here in August 2019 when visiting schwangau. Spotlessly clean room. We had a balcony room which had a fantastic view of the mountains and castles. The hotel is actually in Horn which is a short walk to schwangau and a short drive to Alpsee and the castle ticket kiosk. Staff were very helpful. Would stay here again.

We have booked the Ferienhaus Franzl . This little House is behind the hotel . A small private garden with a terrace , a kitchen , bathroom , double bed and a sofa . Very clean . Totally independent, you can prepare your meals and eat on your terrace . Breakfast can also be taken at the hotel . 20 min by foot to the castles or 5 min by bus . To be recommended . Dog friendly also

Stayed here for two nights in a family room while visiting Nueschwanstein Castle. The room was large, and clean. Were were told we could go grab pastries and coffee our first morning, as we were leaving early to visit the castle and would miss breakfast. We ate breakfast the second day, and enjoyed the sunny dining area. The staff were very helpful. I was afraid we would not make it to the hotel before the front desk closed. I was told that they would be happy to leave our key and instructions in the lobby. I would definitely stay here again.

A pleasant view with both Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles visible a few kilo-metres away from our Panorama room balcony. The room was well equipped, TV -didn't try, kettle and cups, hairdryer, immaculately clean, very good WiFi. Breakfast is an excellent selection of several cereals, yoghurts, cheeses, hams, fruit salad and many different types of breads, jams and pate spreads. Even frankfurters, baked beans and scrambled eggs along with obviously coffee and a selection of teas.....and then several different types of cake.

And then the extras that place some hotels and guest houses above others. The pleasant , efficient, helpful staff. Tea, coffee and cake free in the afternoon. A 'honesty bar ' arrangement for beer and other drinks from the lounge, an information pack on local attractions and restaurants and map in your room. Just excellent.

My wife and I with another couple stayed overnight here and were very pleased with the hotel, the owners and the staff. The rooms are very clean and well done. We had breakfast in the Morning that was outstanding. Plenty to eat and very good. I have a gluten intolerance and when I mentioned it to the owner that was working the front desk when we checked in she said no problem I will inform the kitchen staff to prepare a special rolls and breads.I was surprised how good it was. I went down to the dinning room in the morning before they opened to see if I could get a cup of coffee and a young lady gave me a full pot for the room. Now that is service. !! Also English is not a problem as everyone speaks it. This is an Exceptional place. Great view from the hotel of the castle.
