Very enjoyable just to stroll around this little town square and look at all the bear statutes. Small shops nearby but if you are here on Sunday most shops are closed. Some restaurants still open

The chuch is up in a hill and it takes some effort to go there walking but it is worth it. It has been carefully restored and you will be surprised to see the inside given the unassuming and simple outside look.

Painted walls and ceiling - recently completely and beautifully restored - like the Sistine Chapel without the crowds of tourists.
Don't miss it if you are in Freising.

Pope Benedict XVI was ordained as a Priest here.

Stunning Rococo interior...some paintings were damaged in the 20's however they have been restored.

Immaculate church on top of the hill. Has been visited by Pope Benedict in 2006. Pleasant walk up the cobblestone walkways. Literature available in the church.
