Stayed here for a business meeting. Hotel is perched above town and provides a nice view. If you have time, the spa area is great and a nice way to unwind. The breakfast buffet is decent and very convenient. Would definitely stay again.

The service is low key in the extreme, but that suited us fine. The apartment was lovely with wonderful views night and day and very quiet. The kitchenette was somewhat limited.. only two electric rings to cook on ( plus kettle, toaster and coffee maker, fridge and sink). It's amazing what you can cook with so little if you try. Bad Wildbad is delightful and the park stunning. I would live to come back in the snow!

We had the apartment found through Booking. For a nice price we were fine there. The apartment is quite spacious, small kitchen, small living room with sofa and TV and a bar with stools. Bathroom with all the trimmings, a balcony. Ideal if you want to stay there as the apartment next door you can then engage with it as a group. Unfortunately the beds were not quite great. Fine but the slatted mattress was designated body for replacement. Here we have mention of it, I wonder if what they are here to do. We had room 732. Top view! And super easy to reach. The dog was also welcome :-)

Room Tip: 732 was our room

We came by train, which is unusual because most people drive. If you come by train/tram, DO NOT get out at Bad Wildbad Bahnhof. Stay on the tram until Uhlandplatz, which is the bottom of our street. We got very poor directions from the owner, who is in North Germany and we were stranded at the bahnhof on a Sunday night without a soul around, let alone a taxi. After that, things got a lot better!
This Aparthotel is beautifully situated and good value. We had apartment 16 on the second floor and it had a great view of the forested hills stretching along the valley, the funicular and pretty chalets in this little town. The apartment was very spacious for two people and this made it very comfortable. There is a hallway, large bedroom, good bathroom, living room with L shaped couch, armchair, coffee table, desk and chair- and view. There is a balcony with table and three chairs and banana lounge and drying rack - and great view. The kitchen is small but immaculately clean and very well equipped. We cooked a lot. There are two supermarkets near the bahnhof.

the only crticisms are saggy beds and wrinkly carpets.

We loved Bad Wildbad and spent hours at the Palais Thermal, with its C19 Moorish pools and 2011 updated saunas and spas and roof deck. It has optional bathers in the pools but strict no clothes rules in the mixed saunas. You get a small discount on various things in Bad Wildbad if you are staying there eg 5 euros off the Palais Thermal entrance and a discount on the funicular. Take the funicular and have A Walk in the Black Forest.

Room Tip: views of the forested hills

We had a terrible time at this hotel. We had a mini-apartment which was so small we could hardly turn around in it. (I broke my toe turning around in the bedroom). When we arrived at around 5 p.m. in the afternoon someone tried to give us a code over the inter-com to enter the building. It took us 20 minutes to get in, and no one greeted us or helped with keys or luggage. We had to help ourselves to the key on a board where many keys hung! The so-called sofa had only pillows which could not support you sitting on it. So to watch TV we had to sit on wooden straight-backed chairs around a small table. The next morning a maid tried to enter our room with a key, apologizing that she didn't know it was rented! Enough said. We will never go back!
