Quick one night visit for work, excellent hotel, from was spacious, breakfast was surprisingly varied. Location is great, across local train station, and within 5 minutes buy foot from historic centre. When I need to get back to Goslar, ill stay here.

We were visiting the town of Goslar to see where my great grandmother was born and raised. Although the staff didn’t speak English fluently, we communicated very well. The room was very big, great light, and comfortable. However it was lacking any air conditioning. I would stay again given the opportunity though.

We very much enjoyed the breakfast buffet and offerings.

To get from a 4 to a 5, air conditioning and a fitness room - if we had the option for a 4.5 we would rate it as such. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back some day.

Room was spacious and clean with lots of storage space, large bathroom with plenty of hot water and a small smoker’s balcony. Room decor a bit dated, but it is an old hotel in an old town, so not out of place. Bed too firm for me and pillows too soft. Shower over bath not ideal for those with mobility issues. Didn’t eat dinner at the restaurant, but breakfast very good with plenty of choice. Situated across the road from the train station and within walking distance of several takeaway food options and supermarket. Short walk to the old part of town.

We stayed two nights in June and thoroughly recommend both the hotel and the town. Goslar is a German secret that deserves to be shared with the rest of Europe. Sited in the foothills of the Harz Mountains it is ideal for those interested in preserved medieval architecture, an atmospheric but safe location and proximity to the hills all around.

Restaurants, cafes and the ubiquitous ice cream parlours are everywhere so we recommend bed & breakfast even though the hotel has a good restaurant.

The hotel is two minutes walk from the bus and train station, and three minutes on foot from the heart of the town. The entire centre is pedestrianised with fascinating sights whichever road you choose.

Service is friendly but restrained and the decor is fresh but traditional in line with the hotel's heritage. Of particular note were the large bedroom with equally large bathroom and the wonderful breakfast (included in the price)

Hi stayed in Dec 17, a very convenient hotel close to the railway station & shops.
The hotel is definitely 4* with very friendly & helpful, efficient staff. The room was spacious, extremely comfortable with all amenities catered for. Parking if required is very easy behind the hotel. Breakfast was also excellent, very tasty with a great variety. Also the hotel restaurant was a good choice when relatives joined us. The parking was available for non guests also whist visiting. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel & will definitely be using again when visiting relatives.
