I chose this hotel because it was offering excellent rates. It was a bit out of the way, but I knew that. It's an ugly building but comfortable inside. The room was good although the aircon goes off when you take out the keycard so that it takes a while for the temperature to come down (it was a heatwave). There was no power point by the head of the bed I used, although there was beside the other. This is an important detail because I want to have my mobile on charge overnight and use it as an alarm. The bathroom / shower was more than adequate. The corridors seemed not to have aircon because they were pretty warm.
The breakfast was very good. All the usual of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, bread, cold meats, cheeses plus scrambled and boiled eggs, sausages, mushrooms and bacon. There were pastries and the last morning a gateau appeared, I assume left over from some do the previous evening. Coffee was from vaccuum jugs left out on the table; that could mean it has been out a while, but I didn't find any problem.
Staff were very helpful and sorted out a minor problem for me.More
