We came as a family of 3 after going to beamish for the day. We stayed in their honeymoon suite.
Room was huge and very very clean. However it needed updating . The rest of the building was like a colander. It was raining and the place was leaking. Shame really as it was a very impressive, grand building.
Staff very friendly and efficient.
Breakfast was amazing. Table service. Cutlery and linen exceptional.
The next day we went on the woodland walk and experienced alive in wonderland. A brilliant, interactive walk for children.
Would I come back again....probably but I was a bit disappointed with the deco.
Best western. Spend some money and get it sorted. You risk ruining a grand building.More
