We, elders with 3 children (12-18 years old). Stayed in hotel Giulia for 5 nights in July 2018. We had our own car and stayed in rooms 301 and 302 on the topfloor and backside of the hotel. Comfortable and very clean (bath)room. Breakfast until 10 am and the buffet is fine (boiled and scrambled eggs, no bacon, toast, ham, cheese, salami, lots of sweets). You can order cappuccino without extra costs. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant. We went to Pizzeria Marcello in Giuliano (great place). The pool is huge and awesome and has a poolbar. It has three different levels. No caps neccesary and no extra costs (poolentrance is included in roomprice). Always enough sunbeds and shadow available. The pool closes at 6 pm. We made our reservation on the website of the hotel itself. The hotel has own carparking. It takes 30 minutes to drive from hotel to parking Tirreni in Napoli. We enjoyed our stay in hotel Giulia a lot. We knew the surroundings of the hotel are not nice. For us no probleem as we took our car for dinner. The poolarea (OceanClub) is a very nice place to stay. WiFi could be better. During our stay, there were no poolparties. Reception handles the airconditioning. You call them to charge temperature. It cools good.

Room Tip: Quiet rooms are on the backside of the hotel (because of the highway in front)

We had our first night on our way down to South Italy in this hotel. The surroundings is very bad, with prostitutes trafficking neighboring streets. The hotel premises though, are nice, but if you don't have access to a car, this hotel probably isn't a good choice. We also had a hard time finding the place since the address listet on their website and from our booking agent was completely off.

It didn't seem to have a lot of guests at the time, but at daytime the pool area was crowded by locals. Finding a sunbed was almost impossible.

The rooms are quite nice and have a good standard.

At dinner no we had a bit of difficultys as none of the staff spoke English. And the food... Well, the food wasn't really that good in comparison to what you would expect from an Italian cuisine.

To sum it all up; an bit disappointing first night in Italy.

I was here for 4 days from 8th of march to 12th of march. The staff was very very nice, all of them. Great room, very clean, the food was ok. There was a group of children, TOO NOISY for night. For two nights there was a horrible atmosphere. After they left, everything was ok. I dislike that the hotel is near highway so there is too much dust and sound of cars. I really appreciated the stuff!

Room Tip: double room with matrimonial bed

First impressions of this hotel weren't very good, but after a room upgrade we had a better stay. The main areas of the hotel are ultra-modern and look quite impressive but the rooms are very old-fashioned in comparison and could do with a facelift.

As mentioned in other reviews, prostitutes hang around under the bridge outside the hotel and were also seen coming and going from the hotel. Not a problem for us (found it rather amusing actually) but probably not good for families with young children!

The pool area looks stunning but every afternoon when we wanted to use the pool, there were staff setting up tables/decorations etc for parties. The first afternoon we thought it was a one-off, but every day after that - another party! It didn't stop us from actually using the pool/pool area, but it made us feel a little uncomfortable as we felt in the way! There was also a photoshoot in reception on the morning we were checking out, so we ended up in the way again!

Location was terrible. Not the fault of the hotel, but you definitely need a car as there is nothing in walking distance. Breakfast was disappointing; minimal selection and bad coffee.

Overall: some of the staff were helpful and there is a beautiful beach 15-20 minutes away, but otherwise not a great stay.

Room Tip: 3rd floor is best
