We are fortunate travelers and stayed here three days in 2023, so we returned and stayed three nights in April 2024. Excellent service, spotless room, wonderful food, friendly staff. The restaurant, wines, food and service was perfect! We hope to return! Thank you!
This is truly a 5 star property. First class service with beautiful rooms…some have views of the Alps. Heated pool, luxurious spa and hot tub for relaxation times. Gourmet restaurant a bit pricy but worth it but included in the room price is a complimentary breakfast. Amazingly helpful staff who are well trained in the art of hospitality. From beginning to end, it’s a wonderful property.
Now the only downside I could think of is that it is 20-25 minutes outside of Alba. Without a car, it would cost about €60 one way into the city. No taxis are available to and from the property.
But, don’t let that stop you from enjoying this slice of Italian heaven on earth.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights while visiting Alba for the White Truffle Festival.
It's conveniently located about 20 minutes from Alba in the beautiful country side of Piedmont surrounded by Hazelnut trees and it is close to many wineries in the Barolo/Barbaresco region.
Our room was nicely appointed with a super comfy bed a sitting room and a large bathroom.
The hotel is small but very attractive. They have a fabulous restaurant which is the traditional restaurant and they have a Michelin star restaurant which was not operating while we were there. We had white truffles every night.
They have a spa and an outdoor pool which we actually used because the weather was so warm.
The service was good while not being over the top.
It is a very pleasant place to stay if you ever visit this region of Italy

No value for money. The only nice thing is the pool. The house has no soul. Lot of functional extensions to a once beautiful building. Even in October you freeze in the breakfast room - which, by the way, has the charming atmosphere of a station hall. Breakfast is a complete joke. Not even a buffet. Only toasted white bread. Ingredients mediocre at best. Even a cheap airport hotel has better breakfast.

It is rather difficult to answer when the reviews are basically invented. I remember your stay very well, I had done a WiFi speedtest and the result was nearly 40 Mbps, the plates have been removed from the room during the stayover cleaning service, the à la carte breakfast is probably the most appreciated service Villa d'Amelia gives, the people generally love our ambience and our staff, you reviewed our DaMà Restaurant without even having been there...

A fantastic retreat in this beautiful area of Italy. The rooms were spacious, beds comfy, service excellent, breakfast a particular standout, pool area relaxing, spa sauna impressive & the views breathtaking!!
