Staff were 10/10, so kind and accommodating, we could not fault the customer service. Food and drinks were great, rooms were very tidy, cool and clean. Pools and amenities were great and very close to the beach. A close walk to another good resort for food and entertainment. Highly recommend!!

The resort itself is in a good location, with a private beach, which is great for safe snorkelling as it is quite shallow and teaming with fish. Kayaks and snorkelling gear are free to use and the staff are friendly and lovely. It is very quiet and peaceful and there are a few restaurants within walking distance, so you don't have to eat at the resort all the time. The reason of an average review is that we had problems with both transfers that the resort arranged for us. The transfer from the airport didn't turn up, even though we had a confirmation email. After waiting over an hour and a half, we had the information person at the airport call them, so they had to arrange another transfer at the last minute. We didn't get to our room until almost 11pm at night and when raising our disappointment with the manager, he did nothing. An offer of a free drink or breakfast would have been appreciated, given how annoying and frustrating it was. The transfer the resort arranged for us to take us to Port Denarau was at least on time, but stopped in the middle of the road and started a road rage incident with the car behind. Not only was this very unprofessional (given the not so cheap price) but also made us feel pretty unsafe and scared. All in all, this is a peaceful resort with great facilities in a good location, but book your own transfers to ensure a seemless experience.

I cannot recommend this place high enough. We came with friends for a week for a wedding and the Bedarra Beach Inn was very special. The staff are huge assets to their industry and were kind, knowledgeable and VERY helpful. The TV in the bar area didn’t have cable for us to watch the All Blacks game so the owner went above and beyond and invited us all up to his apartment to watch the game. The food is outstanding at their restaurant and much better priced than the resorts nearby - also good variety with different dinner specials every day. We all had an amazing happy time there and making plans to come back next year. Huge gratitude to the gracious and wonderful staff at the BB Inn

It was like staying with a loving family - the people were so warm and caring and go out of their way to ensure you are happy. Shout out to Vinni - she makes you feel as if you are the most important person at the resort!

The room was spotless as was the bed linen and the bed and pillows were so comfy! Great aircon and the shower pressure was lovely.

Daily happy hour announced by drums at 5 pm means fun tropical drinks were half price. The drinks were great. Only bar snacks would have improved the experience. Just simple things - potato skins, wedges with sweet chili sauce, onion rings, veggie tempura, smaller versions of the pizzas or nachos they had on their dinner menu - heck ever pretzels or chips would have been welcome.

The massages were wonderful - we topped and tailed our stay with them and what bliss!

    The wifi was surprisingly good.

The snorkeling in the shallow bay is dependent on tides and isn't great due to warming ocean temps. We didn't get a chance to go kayaking as that is also tide dependent and the timing of the tides worked against us in the mornings for the most part.

There are no planned activities or events here, no kids club, so if you're a family group - you will have to make your own fun. As an over-50s couple, we were happy with that and it seemed to be, for the most part, largely couples staying there.

There were no televisions in the rooms when we stayed in late July 2024, but the manager told us they were getting them installed in the rooms soon. There is also a lack of powerpoints in the rooms, so bring a multi-plug powerboard and extension cable if you want to recharge your phones, cameras and other electronics.

The food lets the place down. It's not bad, but it was as if someone's British nana had taught the chef how to cook dishes she'd never eaten with whatever they had in stock. A seafood marinara with seafood stick in it and a helluva lot of chili. Overcooked lamb. A broken carbonara sauce that looked more like spoiled milk. Dry fish and chicken dishes. Salads drowned in dressing. Stir fries so swimming in sauce the vegetables gave up in limp defeat. Very few starters/appetisers and no option for smaller serving sizes. From what I could tell, all the juices were bottled or canned, not freshly squeezed.

The live music every night by Sav and other staff plus the aforementioned kindness and warmth of the staff made up for most of the disappointment over the food. Plus the setting is gorgeous.

Just a few little tweaks and this place would be perfect. The swimming pool area needs an awning over it so people can lie about it or swim in the afternoon without being exposed to the glare of the sun, Some bar snacks. Get the kitchen sorted. And a few low-cost planned activities - like a karaoke night, a beach bonfire and story telling night, a buffet of local food, a dancing exhibition, yoga on the beachfront, a paint and sip event - would have made our stay even more special.

However, I would stay here again and would recommend it to my non-foodie friends! Pricing is great, people were fantastic, the view was gorgeous.

Room tip: The pool area is only in shade until early afternoon. The tides in the bay go waaaay out - check with the front desk for tide times.

We spent 2 weeks at this resort. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities. We had a garden view room but would probably recommend upgrading to a deluxe room to get a pool/sea view .
The hotel has a restaurant which serves nice food. It has amazing views from the restaurant.
There is also a nice hotel bar which serves a good selection of drinks (happy hour is everyday from 4-5pm!!).
What makes the experience even more special are the staff. Led by their Manager Jiten the whole team are kind, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They were always so happy and so much fun to be around. We will miss you all.
We would definitely recomend Bedarra Beach Inn. This hotel was fully booked the whole time we were there and we can definitely see why this was from our experience of staying there!!

Room tip: Worth booking a pool/sea view room. Book early, popular hotel.

My wife and I had 10 nights and they were so good. The room, the staff, the food , the beach, the drinks - just amazing.
My wife is Diary and Gluten Free and there were always options to eat.
If you are looking for downtime out of your busy life - this is the place to stay.
To management and staff - you are the best.
    Thanks you

Room tip: Be ready for a great time snorkeling and resting
