Enjoyable stay on Coral Coast

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 28 Apr 2024
Our deluxe room at Bedarra Beach Inn was spacious and included a small balcony overlooking the front garden, carpark with views to the ocean across the road. The property itself was quite dated, but had everything we needed. The staff were always helpful and friendly.

The beach is full of coral and sea grass right from the shore, so entering the water is subject to tides - ie you can only snorkel and swim during high tide which limited the times we could enjoy this option. A swimming pool is on the property, however we never used it.

There were a few restaurant options within a short walk, and the food at the Inn was quite reasonable also.

If you’re planning your trip to Fiji, look no more. I have visited Fiji many times and have stayed at various five star resorts, but Bedarra Beach Inn beats them all! The location, food, service, and the staff are beyond wonderful. I will definitely be returning here on my next trip to Fiji!

Visited for dinner twice during our stay next door at the Outrigger. It is a short walk along the beach and definitely worth a visit. Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was clean and quiet with great food and lovely music from the talented guitar/singer duo. We enjoyed steak, fish, vegetarian curry plate and a coconut curry chicken dish. All were delicious in a lovely spot - make sure you visit if you are in the Coral Coast.

Just lovely! This is a quiet hotel and the staff are wonderful! They make you feel very welcome. My room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
The food in the restaurant was of a good standard and reasonable.
One of the lovely touches was the freshly made snacks which always appeared with your drinks during Happy Hour.
If you want to stay somewhere quieter and not like a bustling resort, this is an excellent choice.

Room tip: Choose a room with a balcony.

This little boutique hotel is amazing. It's right on the beach about 20 minutes from Sigatoka town.
The rooms are very nice and clean with amazing beds and lovely balconies. I spent a bit more and got the upgraded corner room that overlooks the lagoon/ocean. It was not a lot extra and worth every penny.
The staff was lovely as others have said. Very friendly and attentive and made you feel special.
There is a restaurant serving food all day with beautiful views of the ocean. If you want a change of food, there are several restaurants just a 5 minute walk down the road.
I really enjoyed staying here, I'd go back in a minute!

Room tip: My only suggestion is if you like good wine perhaps go to Jacks in Sigatoka and pick some up there. Its a very limited selection here.
