Although this hotel is on the edge of town, there are buses stpping right outside, and the centre is only a 10 to 15 minute walk. There's a chairlift to the slopes nearby but only available if there's snow to ski down on, otherwise you can walk into town or get the bus straight up to the main ski areas.
The hotel itself is okay, a few amenities, steam room and sauna. We never ate in the restaurant in the evening but the breakfasts were very very good, lots of choice and the pastries were fresh and the food is great quality.
The one downside was, Crystal ski sell the rooms as ‘Superior’, they are not, they are dated and very small, especially if you get one with bunk beds against the wall. We had to ask for some extension leads as the plug sockets are few. The people in the hotel are very nice, always smiling and say hello and help you with anything.
Luckily, I emailed them before I travelled to see if they have kettles in the room, they don’t. I took a travel kettle.
I would quite happily stay here again.
