Enjoyed 4 days at Hotel Le Blue Marine. Friendly hosts with some English spoken. Clean rooms with good size beds and bathroom. Good French style breakfast. Swimming pool is welcome in heat of St Maries. Hotel is sited close to bus stop (La Brise stop) and beach and a 5 minute walk to centre of attractive town. Choose room on first floor with balcony if you have a choice. Drinks can be ordered from hosts throughout day, but you cannot eat or drink food in room or on balcony. A great place to stay.

Basic. Bed was lumpy. No parking on property. Very clean. Young girl at desk especially helpful. What kept this from being a "good" review - For 82 euros a night plus nearly 8 euros for petit dejeuner (1 croissant, a couple of slices of baguette, and a plain yogurt), one would think one could choose what kind of coffee one preferred. The first day I had regular. It was so watered down, it looked like brown water. So, the next day I ordered espresso, hoping for a little more oomph. The espressos came, accompanied by eye rolling, and later, an extra charge on my bill.

Room Tip: poolside, ground floor

Cordialement

This hotel is well situated close to the centre of town, the beach and plenty of restaurants. Its one of the few hotels which has a large free car park adjacent to it.We experienced a warm welcome and plenty of useful information. Our room was clean and serviced each day. The 'petit dejeuner' was lovely and plentiful. Fresh pastries/bread/jams/honey/yoghurt/unlimited coffee or other hot drinks. Superb value for money. The hosts could not be more pleasant and helpful. All the residents were friendly and it made our stay so special. The pool was beautiful and clean and you can eat breakfast beside it or enjoy a pre dinner drink available from the hotel. I would definitely recommend it and go again.

This is a two star hotel, so do not expect any five star hotel complex by seaside. Hotel is few minutes on foot from village center and propably three blocks away from the seaside. It has about 20 rooms, small pool, about dozen sunbeds, peaceful location and friendly staff. You can buy cafe, drinks and snacks until 8 pm to the pool side and some downstair rooms have direct access to the pool. This is relaxing place to stay; nothing fancy, but very clean and comfortable. Hotel offers some massages/beauty parlor services as well, but I did not try them. Neither did I try their breakfast, but I know they are serving one.
