We’d actually booked with the Hotel de la Plage next door but it seems they put guests in the Residence du Golf.
It reminded me of backpacking hostels in South America. It was ok but just ok. The beds were very hard, walls are thin so it was super noisy. But there was hot water and a kitchenette. It was fairly cheap at 88 euros for a family of four so we had low expectations. Fine for an overnight stop but I’d look elsewhere for anything more.
We ate at De la Plage, again expecting little, but it was actually pretty good. Standard fare of mainly mussels with typically French desserts. Big portions too. And the waiter was very friendly. More
