I have had lunch in this restaurant several times before and once again it delivered the goods. The restaurant is modern. It is not big so I recommend reservation. The service was perfect. They offer a special deal for lunch. You can choose 2 dishes if you want (combination between appetizer, entree and dessert) for a very reasonable price. I chose a la carte and had a full lunch. The charcuterie plate was excellent though there was more food than I could possibly eat. I had a pork dish with artichoke puree for main course. For dessert I picked the kouign aman (typical dessert for Britanny). It was a pure delight. A decadent combination of pastry dough, caramel and salted butter. If you are looking for delicious food in a cozy, modern environment this is the place to pick.

I was pleasantly surprised by this peculiar combination of snails with pasta. The dessert too was marvellous: pistache tart with red fruit. The main course (Angus beef) was nice.
The staff was very friendly, the place clean and with enough room at the tables.

Good decor, very helpful staff, good service
The portions are not too large and may not suit some people but the tastes are so well blended together. We had delicious pork, which could be too pink for the average English person, but the waitress did ask us how we liked it cooked with white asparagus and puree potatoes
During the week there is a meal served within an hour that is aimed at people
with a bit less time. The restaurant was absolutely full and this was midweek
We were there for 2 hours and had a nice unhurried meal. However it could be offputting to find people arriving at the same time as you having the set meal are eating there
pudding when you have just received your main course
The restaurant is very centrally placed in Beauvais by the main market place

Le Senso is a restaurant whose chef is trying hard to do things with class and with an obvious search for details and good produce. A very good starter - probably the best thing in the meal - and two other very decent dishes. A careful and efficient service and and excellent wine, everything at an affordable price.

It is impossible to exaggerate how vile this food was! Despite some naf-posh presentation, these meals were inedible. The lamb was tough and tasteless- it came with a bland, milk sauce and a side of over salted cheesy pasta bits. The fish was cold and well past its best before date. The quail was a lump of processed poultry meat wrapped in filo. As for 'vegetarian and vegan friendly' - they gave the vegetarian a smear of potato purée, a shallot and two slices of carrot. To top it off the price was what you would pay for a good meal - 170 for 7 mains. Needless to say, we did not stay to sample the dessert...
