We stayed here for a week, three generations, five people and it was perfect. The location is great, a few minutes’ walk from the harbour and about 10 minutes into the old town.
The villa is very well equipped with everything you could want from a kitchen (including a dishwasher), comfy beds and a huge sofa to relax on. It’s worth noting that the villa is much bigger than it looks from the owner pictures.
Without a doubt though, the piece de resistance of this lovely villa is the incredible pool, which again is much better than the photo’s demonstrate. It’s huge and has a couple of sizeable shallow areas which are perfect for kids to paddle in. There are plenty of sun loungers and a super comfy day bed, plus a nice little garden.
The only negative was all the ants but that seems to be the case with the entirety of Porto Vecchio and they were only outside.
For those staying here, we’d highly recommend Le Glacier de la Place (Place de la Republique) for a great selection of beers and Le Passe de Temps for good steak and pizza.
It’s also worth taking the 20 minute drive to Sainte Lucie which has a wonderful beach and some really nice restaurants.
All in all, a lovely spot for a relaxing family holiday.
