My father has ALS, and is currently in a wheelchair. He's lost all mobility in his lower and upper body and it was his dream to visit Jerusalem. We never thought a trip was in his cards, everything seemed impossible. But then my brother and I did some research and we found Israel 4 All. We wrote them a note and within 24 hours, we seemed to have everything planned out for us - accessible trip check, accessible van check, caregiver to help my dad a few hours in the day check, mo lift to carry my father in the hotel room check, private tour guide check. Eli, Avihai and Andrea were nothing short of amazing. They got on the phone and answered all our questions. My father and mother travelled from India , I travelled from SF and my brother from NYC. We spent 6 days touring the ancient city of Jerusalem. To our surprise and amazement, almost everything we saw and went to was accessible for my dad. The best part of our trip was our tour guide Eli. We called him our local angel. He had such good energy and made the trip amazing for us. He was warm and caring and so knowledgeable about the history. We had a problem with my mothers visa and he went out of his way to go the DHL office and track down a package for us. Thank you ELI!!! This was a trip of a lifetime and we had the most memorable time there. If anyone has a disability and you feel like it's not possible. israel 4 all is the answer!
I just returned from an 8 days accessible tour with Israel4All and it was amazing. Our guide, Eli Meiri, showed us the best of Israel and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great trip. We visited Haifa, Nazareth, Masada, the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv. Eli knew all of the accessible paths and places to go, making it a stress free trip for us. Usually when I travel, I have to figure out accessibility myself (which is a daunting process), but thanks to Eli it was all taken care of. This allowed us to really be able to enjoy the country. If you are considering a trip to Israel, look no further than Israel4All!
My mother has very limited mobility and needs total hip and knee replacement but she had a dream of being able to visit Israel. I wanted to see that dream come true and stumbled upon this company. I was happily able to go with her and witness what was, beyond a doubt, the fulfillment of that dream. Our guide, Eli, was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. He's passionate about sharing his country and passionate about helping people with disabilities. He took care of my mom like she was his own. She was able to do and see everything she wanted, unhindered by her disadvantages. He made it possible and we are forever grateful for him and this company.
In July I visited Israel with my girlfriend and her 89 year old father. It was their lifelong dream and we toured with the owner, Eli Meiri.
Eli made the experience truly an amazing experience and fulfilled their lifelong dream. But it was such primarily because of the human being that he is and the sincere care and attention he paid to every detail.
When we were with him it was as if we were touring with a dear friend, not a tour guide......because we were.
Eli had an agenda for the tour that he customized on the fly to ensure we saw everything we could possibly see in the time we had. We had booked the Jewish heritage tour for my girlfriend and her father but Eli made sure that we saw Christian highlights as well since I am Christian.
We also started with no wheelchair as my girlfriends father thought he could make it without one. As soon as Eli saw him struggling to do so he immediately got a wheelchair and then a scooter to make the tour as pleasurable as possible for him.
I have traveled all over Europe with several group and private tour companies and Eli's tour surpassed them all. His personal touch and caring made all the difference in the world.
I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a tour company that caters to disabled people.
Dear Don, Tery and Paul
It was a pleasure having you here. Knowing you gave me the opportunity to find the best service for you. As I told you by arrivel - welcome home - you have another home far from home here and I am waiting to see you again soon.
Hope you made it home well.
Eli Meiri's Israel4All is a superb travel company! My husband and I toured with Eli for 11 days all around Israel. My husband brought his own manual wheelchair, and rented a power chair through Eli to use in Israel. We traveled in a van with a lift. This was the best trip we have ever taken because it was completely stress-free. We didn't have to plan anything - Eli made all the arrangements, and knew all the accessible means of getting to where we were going. He even took us to restaurants in the evening. So we did not have the usual unexpected crises with the wheelchair not being able to get in somewhere, or being stranded by the wheelchair not working. We actually did have a problem with the wheelchair needing new batteries while we were in Jerusalem, so Eli took my husband to the hotel, drove the wheelchair to Tel Aviv for new batteries, and then came back to Jerusalem to take us to dinner.
Eli is a very kind person, with a good sense of humor, and he is very sensitive to his clients' individual needs and interests. He is diligently devoted to his clients' comfort, convenience, welfare and enjoyment. For our return flight, he even took us into the airport as far as he could to make sure that we got priority treatment. He is extremely knowledgeable about all the sites in Israel, and makes the trip informative and fascinating. He is well-known and highly respected in the Israeli tourism industry as an advocate for disabled travel and for the quality of his services.
My family and I traveled to Israel for two family weddings. I have MS and use a scooter for mobility. Eli arranged for a ramped accessible van for us to rent for the two weeks we were there and advised us as to best places to stay and visit. He guided my two adult sons, husband and I on four tours during our visit. We visited Jaffo, two days in Jerusalem, a day to the Gallilee, Golan heights and Tiberias. One of his colleagues guided us to Haifa and Akko. Eli is incredibly informed and generous with his knowledge of Israel. He was able to appeal to our millenial sons as well as their baby boomer parents by discussing the history and current politics of Israel while showing us the spectacular beauty and profound history of the country. Eli is intimately aware of the issues of accessibility in Israel and is clearly an advocate for all of us with the challenges of disability. We found that the fees for his trips were very comparable to other guides. I am very grateful to have been on this trip assisted by Eli and Israel4All and highly recommend Eli Meiri for travelers with special needs and their families.
