Eli Meiri's Israel4All is a superb travel company! My husband and I toured with Eli for 11 days all around Israel. My husband brought his own manual wheelchair, and rented a power chair through Eli to use in Israel. We traveled in a van with a lift. This was the best trip we have ever taken because it was completely stress-free. We didn't have to plan anything - Eli made all the arrangements, and knew all the accessible means of getting to where we were going. He even took us to restaurants in the evening. So we did not have the usual unexpected crises with the wheelchair not being able to get in somewhere, or being stranded by the wheelchair not working. We actually did have a problem with the wheelchair needing new batteries while we were in Jerusalem, so Eli took my husband to the hotel, drove the wheelchair to Tel Aviv for new batteries, and then came back to Jerusalem to take us to dinner.
Eli is a very kind person, with a good sense of humor, and he is very sensitive to his clients' individual needs and interests. He is diligently devoted to his clients' comfort, convenience, welfare and enjoyment. For our return flight, he even took us into the airport as far as he could to make sure that we got priority treatment. He is extremely knowledgeable about all the sites in Israel, and makes the trip informative and fascinating. He is well-known and highly respected in the Israeli tourism industry as an advocate for disabled travel and for the quality of his services.
My family and I traveled to Israel for two family weddings. I have MS and use a scooter for mobility. Eli arranged for a ramped accessible van for us to rent for the two weeks we were there and advised us as to best places to stay and visit. He guided my two adult sons, husband and I on four tours during our visit. We visited Jaffo, two days in Jerusalem, a day to the Gallilee, Golan heights and Tiberias. One of his colleagues guided us to Haifa and Akko. Eli is incredibly informed and generous with his knowledge of Israel. He was able to appeal to our millenial sons as well as their baby boomer parents by discussing the history and current politics of Israel while showing us the spectacular beauty and profound history of the country. Eli is intimately aware of the issues of accessibility in Israel and is clearly an advocate for all of us with the challenges of disability. We found that the fees for his trips were very comparable to other guides. I am very grateful to have been on this trip assisted by Eli and Israel4All and highly recommend Eli Meiri for travelers with special needs and their families.
In spring 2014, I traveled to Israel with a group of American Christians, including a wheelchair user. Israel4All took care of everything, from giving us a custom-designed tour of Jerusalem, Galilee, and Bethlehem, to making sure that all of us could participate in everything. (See my photo of all of us crossing the Sea of Galilee in a wooden boat.) I've traveled around five different countries with my friend who uses a power wheelchair -- this was our smoothest long-distance trip, including those in the USA! Israel4All understands exactly what is needed (from having the right converter for the wheelchair battery to navigating ancient sites without missing a single thing) and anyone who has a disability knows how rare that is. But beyond that, it was an excellent visit with a tour guide who speaks good English, listens to what visitors want, and loves his work. When I go back -- even if it's with a group of able-bodied folks -- I'm calling Eli! If you want safety, accessibility, good language skills, and an individually-tailored experience, Israel4All will provide it.
I'm an 89 year old lady in a wheelchair and sight impaired. I had always wanted to go to Israel and my daughter thought this would be the perfect tour for me to be able to see the Holy Land. We contacted Eli and found that he would be able to help me get around and travel to the places in Israel that I had always wanted to see. Eli was definitely the perfect fit for my needs. He was compassionate, patient, funny, thoughtful and always there to help me along. He made sure that we saw all of the important Christian sites in Israel and explained them all with knowledge to allow us to understand their importance in history. It was a perfect trip and one that I never imagined I would be able to take because of my limitations. For anyone needing a knowledgeable guide to assist you with your travels, I highly recommend Eli and Israel 4 All.
In May 2014, I toured Israel for ten days with Israel 4 All and its founder Eli Meiri. Although this is a company which specializes in tours for people with disabilities, I was an able-bodied member of our group of ten (one was in a wheelchair). Eli is an amazing guide. He is passionate about seeing that every member of his groups see and experience all of Israel and its history from Biblical to modern times. Some of our highlights included: Capernaum and its first century ruins of streets where the Apostles walked, the Sea of Galilee and its surrounding area, Masada and the Dead Sea, and of course Jerusalem from the Temple Mound and the Western Wall to the Old City markets and the Holocaust Museum. We were never rushed, we were never blocked from viewing the sights, and we went everywhere we had asked to go, with our way always smoothed by Eli's knowledge and experience. If you want an extraordinary, once in a life-time trip, I unreservedly recommend Israel 4 All.
A brief testimonial.
It was one of the best vacations I ever had. Since being confined to a wheelchair I never thought I would be able to go to any country I wanted to And going to Israel was like a dream. Not only did Eli explore depths into everything but he was able to teach finer things that wasn't obvious. He was compassionate and caring. He would not allow any hotel to skimp on their committment to provide what was expected.. Eli was caring and looked out for easy ways to get around. I would never never have been so proud and knowledgable of Israel if Eli hadn't guided me.
