A very nice place to stay! Spacious apartment with swimming pool. Family-run restaurant serving delicious local food. We will come back!
There is evidently lots of wildlife here as we noticed several hunters with shot-guns in the area around the hotel.

Having booked into a nearby apartment we were both surprised and delighted to discover this hidden Tuscan gem.

This is simply the best food we have tasted in Italy over many years of travel. Authentic, unpretentious and delicious traditional cooking by a very talented family team and incredibly attentive, warm and friendly service. The majority of the ingredients are produced on the owners farm; you can even visit the farm or get involved in the cooking if staying in their apartments!

The wines recommended by our host Luigi were excellent and really good value.

As it was a beautiful evening we ate on the terrace with a panoramic view of the rolling Tuscan countryside and sipped our wine as the sun slowly slipped down behind the hills leaving a glorious flame coloured sky.

We ate here a total of three times on our holiday and would heartily recommend you make the effort to visit if staying in the area. It is just 15 minutes from the centre of Volterra.

I hope we will return to this magical destination but next time will be sure to stay in one of the apartments at this property.

Konstantinos suggested us to go over there and eat. The place is amazing situated on a small hill among infinite fields. Maria, its owner, cookes heavenly! Great antipasti and main courses!! Its white wine properly cold was divine (we had two bottles)!!! Not to mention the sweets….oh my!…homemade tiramisu and semifredo…loved them both!!!!Thank you for your hospitality!!! We only ate there so there is nothing to say about accommodation...

We visited the restaurant on two occasions opting for pasta dishes with starters/dessert.

The food is authentic Italian food served with a friendly service.

The view of Volterra and the countryside is amazing. It can be windy so you may have to sit in side or bring a jacket!

Portions are reasonable, but of a high quality.

A meal for two with drinks costs around 35euros. This seems reasonable having eaten around Tuscany where prices can be around 10euros more easily for less quality.

We did not stay in Santa Vittoria but in nearby accommodation that allowed us to access their restaurant and bar services. Fabulous food! Having travelled around Tuscany during our stay I can honestly say our best meals were had here (according to our daughter it is the best food in the whole of Italy!). During the summer the restaurant is open four nights/week - two a-la-carte evenings and two fixed price evenings with themed menus ('pasta and pizza' and 'barbeque'). The menu was simple but delicious, with many of the vegetables coming from the family garden, and the views from the terrace with the sun setting behind us provided an idyllic back-drop - even in a thunderstorm! The wine menu was good but the house wine at 6 euro/bottle was perfectly acceptable, and a two-course meal for four (2 adults and 2 children), including drinks averaged 65 euro. The owners are delightful - always smiling, attentive and keen to ensure our needs were met. Highly recommended!
