We spent two weeks ( late September/early October ) in this lovely, friendly hotel and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Slight mix up over rooms as we checked in but issue sorted very quickly by Reception staff. All staff we met went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable - so many it is unfair to mention individuals-all deserve praise!

Both rooms were comfortable, of a good size and spotless with splendid views overlooking the pool and out to sea.

Food in the main Buffet Restaurant was of a very good standard with a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes. Menu varied daily - if anything too many choices. Always a number of meat dishes and grills, a choice of fish dishes - and pasta dishes and local favourites to die for! No need to upgrade to Super All Inclusive!

The excellent pool area was cleaned and tidied daily and there was always plenty of sunbeds to choose from.

The hotel grounds are a delight - neatly tended gardens still full of flowers in October. As the hotel is perched high up on a cliff the views are stunning! Stromboli at sunset is a sight to behold! The hotel beach is accessed by a lift - quite an experience, but very welcome. Again a good choice of sunbeds, soft white sand and a beach bar.

The entertainment group were very enthusiastic and worked hard from dawn till dusk even if some of the evening shows were rather naive. They were very visible around the hotel and spent time chatting to guests.

The hotel is a fifteen minute walk from the stunning town of Tropea which clings precariously to the edge of a massive cliff (Look at the images on Google) well worth a visit, if only for one of its famous ice cream specialities or its narrow streets, beautiful churches and wonderful views!

Some reviewers mention the high numbers of German guests and seem to imply that they were given favourable treatment. This is not so. We four were the only English guests during our stay and we were particularly well treated. Yes the largest group was from Germany but there were groups from Sweden, Norway, France, Denmark, Holland, Switzerland, Italy etc and all were very polite and friendly! ( And we don't go on holiday abroad to meet English people - we could do that in Blackpool!).

Room tip: Avoid 'land view' rooms at the back of the hotel - you get a view of car park and a garage.

The hotel is situated very close to Tropea and has a private beach. The food is amazing and the all-inclusive program has a really good quality. The sunset view on Stromboli is spectacular and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Beautiful gardens with a lot of exotic flowers. Most people working there are very friendly and helpful. We had a nice room with a very nice view. A comfort room with a lot of space. The antipasto buffet was nice but the rest of the buffet wasn´t much to talk about. For our taste it was good enough. The freedom of choice s great!Either stay around the pool or heading for the beach an elevator trip away. And ten minutes walk to Tropea in the evening. This was my second visit and I can think of coming back.

Room tip: Choose a room with a view

Drove down the driveway twice before we found it... No signage a road construction made it challenging. Very happy to stay here... Private and beautiful on nearly empty beach.
We would stay here again. Loved casita #20... Right on the ocean. Breakfast was nice as well.
