We were trekking the Alta Via 1. We were used to rifugios at that point so we had very low expectations by going there. We were so surprised and happy to find out a high-level place, extremely clean, cheap compared to rifugios, totally equipped, a small grocery to stock up, Hamam and massage options and above all- patient Claudia and a wonderful chef restaurant!
I give it A+++. It is paradise in nowhere.

We stayed 3 nights on the camping with a tent, car and 2 persons. Absolutely amazing environment, surrounded by mountains. From the campingsite you can walk straight into the mountainarrea: several amazing hikingtracks are well signed. Staff on the camping is nice, helpfull and speak good english. Sanitary is very clean, great showers with very hot water and power. There is a litlle campingshop where you can buy fresh bread. Also the restaurant is great!! We had really nice pizza's and cheap wine. The camping is pretty quiet and serene, ecxept some very loud barking dogs. There is no village/restaurant or shop nearby/within walking distance, something you should be aware of. There do drive buses, in front of the camping is a busstop. A bit disappointing was that they gave us the most expensive pitch without telling us beforehand.

Lovely little campsite in the shadow of some rather impressive mountains. Great view to wake up to each morning. The restaurant on site is really good, the one next door (Sare) worth a visit too. Walking distance or bus to San Cassiano and the cable car, but the walking trails are accessible directly from the campsite. Overall a great base to stay in a wonderful part of the world.

Large campsites were somesing to be bypassed, we thought ignorently. Luckily we have found ourselves on Sass. Great showers, plenty toilets, an enormous common room with secure charging stations, a well stocked bar... Do I need to go on? All facilities are continously cleaned and kept tidy. Their sites for tenting are big and last but not least they hired the best pizza maker.
This is a camp site that trumps all others.

Campsite is in a stunning location with beautiful views of the mountains. The layout is quite freeform with pitches labelled with a number and their size, comfort, small etc.
Reception staff speak many languages - with Italian and German being dominant here but English is spoken
There is a path from the campsite which goes all the way into the mountains. The routes are numbered and a map available online but easy to follow paths.
Bathrooms are clean and sinks have power points. There are recycling bins and a washing up area. For a large site, there are plenty of facilities.
We had two dogs with us, which you have to pay for but there are dog bins on the site and up the trail.
The restaurant is fine - food is good and even managed well as a vegan with salad, a huge grilled vegetable option and the vegan staple - asking for the veggie pizza without cheese :) Food arrives quickly but order taking and getting the bill were slow.
Will definitely return.
